We were there just before Halloween and the staff was all dressed up for the occasion. Service was amazing had a great time. The food awsome. I had a spinach artichoke chicken bowl. The chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The bread was warm served with oil. Beautiful place for a casual date or a special occasion. Really anytime is a great time to enjoy a meal. We love Balagio! Dan was our server and he is beyond wonderful! He knows the menu up and down, made sure our dinner was just as we ordered and is very (but not overly) attentive! He suggested the bread pudding with salted caramel ice cream for desert and we devoured it!
Wow! Being from the Houston area, we wanted to try Italian and we were blown away with this place. The only (and I mean only) thing we had a complaint on was the ambience music. It was a little too pop for us. A little older soft pop would have worked. So there - now let's talk food and service. We sat on the patio and from our appetizer to the dessert was just phenominal. Try the key lime mango cheesecake. And then write a review thanking me for telling you about this place! Have fun.

We love to frequent Balagio’s in Mokena. We like to sit at the bar to have dinner and drinks. Just our preference, the dining room is really nice. There is another back bar that is open during peak hours as well. I’m more of a bourbon drinker, but I switched it up and had the Pomegranate Martini. Which was an excellent choice and would highly recommend. The food is outstanding as usual and doesn’t disappoint! I had the center cut pork chop with grilled vegetables which was excellent. I usually have the white fish, but as I stated earlier I wanted to switch things up.
My father and I ate our Easter dinner here. The food is delicious and the service is spectacular! If you like excellent Italian food with generous portions, Balagio's is the place to dine!
We hosted my mother-in-law's 70th birthday party here and it was a success! The manager was so helpful and easy to work with. She even worked with us to create a custom menu for the event and helped us set out the gift bags for our guests. During the party, the waitress was just amazing, and gave us excellent service. They cut the custom cake we brought in for everyone and even cleaned up my decorations (though we did keep it minimal with just a few centerpieces). Everyone enjoyed the food and there was plenty to take home because the appetizers were so filling. Our Nigerian family was a bit skeptical about coming to an Italian restaurant because most of us mainly just cook at home, but we were all so pleased with the food! It was tasty, well seasoned, and not overcooked! Thanks for helping make the event a success!
Very clean and nice restaurant. Predominantly white crowd but we felt very welcomed. The food and drink was great and tasty. I had the Cucmber mint martini.
